Who we are & how we got here

I'm Jack and I am the face behind Veteran Bookkeeping.  In late 2021 I was diagnosed with a spinal condition that put an end to my aircraft engineering career in the Royal Navy.  With my employment ending soon and my family at home to feed I had to think hard about what I was going to do to provide for us.

I thought about my time in school and my previous career in hospitality management, what am I good at that I am still able to do?  Maths, finance and business studies were my favourite and strongest subjects in school, and during my time in the hospitality industry I loved dealing with the accounts and finances.

I took some time out to study and invest in myself.  In early 2023 Veteran Bookkeeping was born.
